In 1993 Robert Mulhern and Rosaleen Orr opened Studio Arts gallery in Kilbarchan and have staged 30 exhibitions, showing the work of internationally acclaimed artists, celebrated Kilbarchan artists and young graduates.

Robert Mulhern and Rosaleen Orr were students together in the Drawing and Painting Department of Glasgow School of Art under William and Mary Armour, Geoff Squire and David Donaldson, at a time when  Joan Earley was still an occasional tutor. In her third year Rosaleen Orr won the William Hart Drawing prize and on Graduation She was awarded the Guthrie prize for portraiture. She attended Hospitalfield Summer School where she was taught by McLaughlin Milne. Both were heads of department in Glasgow schools and from 1984 to 1991 ran a private art school in their studios in the West End of Glasgow.

Since becoming Artist members of the Paisley Institute, Rosaleen was awarded the McFarlane Trust Award at the 1994 Scottish Drawing Competition and Robert won the 1995 Paisley Institute Award. Their work has been shown in exhibitions in Maastricht, Aachen and Amsterdam and can currently be seen in the Glasgow Arts Club
